The environment and the effects people have on it have always been a topic people have talked about but it has come to the forefront recently more than ever as global warming continues to wreak havoc on our earth and the people that reside on it. With storm systems becoming stronger in addition to weather patterns, it is hard to ignore the changes that appear to be occurring more frequently each year. Because of this, jobs in the environmental sciences like geotechnical engineering are becoming more important than ever to try to help the environment. This article will discuss some of the top five schools in America that have environmental science degrees and ways you can become a geotechnical engineer among other jobs that may help the environment.

Stanford University in California has the school of life sciences that teaches the learning and the understanding of the earth and what happens to it when people are irresponsible and the effects that behavior has on the environment. The curriculum for geological and environmental science undergraduate students take several classes in the earth sciences in addition to a six week outdoor course of field study and research where they can really get a better understanding of the things they have learned in the classroom.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus has the college of agricultural consumer and environmental sciences and is the best college in the Midwest for this type of degree. This particular college was created in 1867 and they are known for top research studies in environmental sciences. One recent example was a study done on herbicide drift. They also have several clubs that support those that are studying in these areas like The Forestry club that help clean up parks and plant trees. Other clubs are the Herbology/Horticulture club that takes care of flowers, plants and herbs and the Fish and Wildlife club that takes care of the animals found in their natural environments.

Another top school is Yale University in Connecticut that has the school of forestry and environmental sciences and this degree was added in 1998. The building is designed to use a solar powered water heater, rainwater harvesting and geothermal heating as well. Students at Yale also are lucky to have access to the largest library in the world and labs with the most current technology to support the various degrees in environmental studies that are studied there. Although the program at Yale is only a little over a decade old, it is now rated in the top five in America and is known throughout the world.

The final school is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that has the department of civil and environmental engineering. With this area of study the student understands the earth’s system and ways to incorporate technology to fit environmental requirements. Students that study environmental engineering take several interesting courses like hydrology and environmental law. MIT continues to rise above and beyond in studies of engineering and this is another example.

A Review Of Web 2 Mayhem, Continued

As promised in my previous post, this is my second part of my Review of Web 2 Mayhem. In this post I am going to be going into much more detail about the Submission Software and other Features of the Program. If you have not already done so, read my previous post first.

Top Notch Submission Software

In my Review Of Web 2 Mayhem, I found it comes with the Best Automated Submission Software I have ever seen. It includes Account Creator, RSS Announcer, Social Bookmarker, Video Sharer, Article Distributor, Blog Poster, PAD Submitter.

Let’s start with the Account Creator Feature.

The Account Creator Tool is really straight forward. As you might have suspected already, it creates accounts on your behalf at all of the various sites you will be submitting to in the following steps. This includes RSS Directories, Social Bookmarking Sites, Video Sharing Sites, Article Websites, Blog Sites (you actually make a bunch of blogs that end up with content back to the main site you are promoting) and a PAD Submitter (explained in a future post).

Once all the many account profiles are created, next comes the RSS Announcer Feature.

Again, really straight forward, the RSS Submission Tool submits the RSS feed from your main Website to RSS directories that are popular with Google. The Web 2 Mayhem Program does not mess with Sites that are not important to Google, and therefor makes your time spent very effective.

Next is the Social Bookmarker Feature.

The Social Bookmarker Tool is a highly effective and money saving tool. It submits your site with your Keyword Rich Title to the most popular online Social Bookmarking sites. The Tool covers more sites than Onlywire does, and again it only takes interest in the Sites that will get recognized by Google.

This next tool is an often overlooked one, it is the Video Sharer Feature.

The Video Sharer Tool makes it fast and simple to submit and post your videos promoting your Website to highly effective video sites like YouTube, Vimeo and DailyMotion, to name a few. The key, of course, is to put a backlink to your Website in the video description.

Arguably the most effective and well known tool is the Article Distributor Feature.

In short, the Article Distributor Tool quickly submits your unique Articles, that are written to be Keyword Friendly, to the best and most Google favored Article Sites. The main one, of course, is Ezine Articles, as it is well known to be the Granddaddy of all the Article Sites. When used with this Submission Tool, it creates an endless number of variations of your original Article Content.

The Blog Poster Feature is the next, and second to last in the Web 2 Mayhem Submission Tools.

Also very straight forward, the Blog Poster Tool posts your articles, Backlinks, and whatever else you may like to share, quickly and easily to all of the Blogs you created with the Account Creator Tool. It is a highly effective way to get more linkbacks to your Website, as well as other sites that are promoting your site.

Last, but not least, is the PAD Submitter Feature.

This tool is a truly unique one and I had never really heard or thought of this way of Marketing a Website before. This tool lets you easily submit your PAD files (eBook, .exe, .zip, etc) to very popular PAD Sites. These PAD Sites are highly ranked in Google and can really help drive traffic to your Website.
