Use whatever combos you like. My top camping meals though, are made with pudgie pie makers ( also called pie irons ). Our family uses pudgie pie makers to meal heavenly gifts for lunch and dinner.
Bread is the staple ingredient in making a pudgie pie. To make one, butter 2 slices of bread. Place the buttered side down in the pudgie pie maker. This could stop the bread from sticking. Place a cheese cut on top of each piece of bread. Close the pudgie pie maker. Place in the coals of your campfire. It’ll only take 1 or 2 mins for the pie to cook. Watch your sandwich closely. Dependent on how hot your fire is, the sandwich will cook awfully swiftly. Ham and tomato are also fantastic additions to your cheese sandwich. Pizza pudgie pies are favored by our family too.
Again, butter two bits of bread and place the buttered side down in the pudgie pie maker. Add your favourite pizza toppings ( ours are canned pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese ). Close the pudgie pie maker and place in the coals of your campfire to cook. Use caution when removing pudgie pies from your pudgie pie maker. Both the pudgie pie maker and your sandwich will be exceedingly hot. Another favorite kind of pudgie pie that our family enjoys are pudding ones. Cook in the fire and enjoy. Once your marshmallow is warm and gooey, stick it on top of a graham cracker and a bit of a chocolate bar, and then crown with another graham cracker. Cooking while camping can actually be lots of fun. Preparing foods should be simple and need only a little clean up and use few saucepans. At the end of the night, though, no camping expedition would be finished without toasting marshmallows. Cut some branches and skewer enormous marshmallows. Hold each stick over the flame till brown and toasty. More here… Solar Camping Gear.
