Three different techniques are there that the kids can learn. There is no difference when it comes to teaching a soccer skill or any other skill. These teaching methods have been given different names by different people. I&rsquo;d like to name it &ldquo;&rdquo;FIG. It would be explained to you in the subsequent paragraphs.</p>
<p>Foundation: In soccer training, this consists of the base upon which the team&rsquo;s coming stages and eventually the entire future as a team would rest. As such these comprise the lowest level of training. These skills are necessary for every kid to learn but are not used in the actual game. A resourceful team and all-rounder team members can make a team a match winner and for that a strong foundation is required.</p>
<p>Intermediate: Halfway i.e. intermediate what the letter &ldquo;I&rdquo; means. The basics of the game are attached to the actual game skills only by using these middle level skills. We therefore must understand that mid level skills and actual game skills play a very different role in soccer. When it comes to soccer coaching, intermediate skills and game skills are not the same. But they have a significant role to plan when it comes to building game skills.</p>
<p>Game: These are the game skills that enable the player to play the game while in field. These are the essential skills that are necessary for all players to learn so as to perform in live matches.</p>

<p>In soccer drills, it&rsquo;s always beneficial to adopt the method of demonstration and performance. This essentially means that you first give an introduction, then talk about the body, and then finish off with a conclusion. The players must be told in soccer practice what you are going to teach them. Then do it so that kids are able to copy it. In the end, have them do it.</p>
<p>Coaching has 3 basic things: one, players must be told how to accomplish something. In order to achieve this, teach them the skill and also let them know as to how this will help them play better soccer. Second, they must be shown how to perform the technique. Display the skills that you wish them to learn in front of the players. It is true that young players learn better by watching.</p>
<p>And last but not the least, have the players practice the technique/ skill. Sufficient time must be allowed to the kids so that can practice the game. Run as many repetitions as are needed for them to learn the skill. Make sure you don&#8217;t spend a lot of time lecturing. In its place, show them what you want them to learn.</p>
<p>Finally, educate the players about how well they performed in soccer practice. Also explain to them any corrections that they need to make to better their performance. Just test it right away and you will be surprised at how well it improves your training routines.</p>
